Aimee is an occupational therapist with a master’s degree in mental health science, and over eight years in working alongside people who experience mental health conditions. Aimee has worked with adults and teens within a variety of public inpatient and community mental health settings.

Aimee enjoys working with people to support them to understand their experience of mental health conditions, distress or challenges and to learn skills to recover. Aimee supports people with personality disorders, anxiety, depression, psychosis and other conditions.

Aimee uses a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other psychological approaches to help people develop skills to better manage strong emotions, create balance in their activities, cope with distess, and use sensory systems to regulate their feelings.
