Ashley has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Bachelor of International Relations from Flinders University.

Ashley assists individuals to address problems such as anxiety, mood disorders, stress, emotion dysregulation and trauma-related conditions. She takes a holistic and person-centred approach to wellbeing that focusses on an individual’s values and strengths. Ashley is passionate about addressing contributing bio-psycho-socio-cultural factors to address individual needs, considering broader systemic challenges within wider networks and communities. She integrates a range of evidence-based psychological therapies to meet the needs of individuals including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy, Narrative techniques, and Mindfulness.

Ashley is particularly passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma, and has gained experience working within Australia and abroad supporting the mental health and wellbeing of individuals in refugee and refugee-like situations who have experienced torture and trauma and in Alice Springs supporting Aboriginal Australians. Before completing her university studies, Ashley worked in Youth Support and Mentoring roles involving trauma-informed care and support for at-risk young people who were homeless, under the Guardianship of the Minister and Unaccompanied Humanitarian Refugee Minors.
