Pip is a warm and dedicated Clinical Psychologist with over 5 years experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of mental health settings. She has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and has worked in public hospitals in Hornsby and Brisbane and has helped individuals living in the community in both the public and private sectors.
Pip is an empathic clinician who applies evidence-based therapies to treat a wide range of mental health issues. She is passionate about helping people recover from depression, anxiety disorders (e.g. phobias, social anxiety, OCD, separation anxiety), bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, among others. She also provides therapy for adults and teens who may struggle with their sleep, developing and maintaining relationships, low self-esteem, high achievement standards, and issues related to substance use.
Pip works with her clients to develop a clear understanding of the main issues then recommends and provides an appropriate treatment modality, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT, or Attachment-Based Family Therapy. She may also draw from other approaches, such as schema therapy and mindfulness-based approaches.
